How to Check JAMB UTME Results 2020 Via SMS: Result to 55019 – The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The Board made an announcement that the results of candidates who wrote on 14th, 16th, 17, and 18th March 2020 has been released online.
Candidates who wrote the exam and have not checked or seeing their scores are to follow the guide below to check their results.
How to Check JAMB UTME Results 2020 Via SMS.
Candidates are to note that at the moment they can only have access to their scores via SMS and not on the JAMB Official Website.
All candidates can now send RESULT, via SMS, to 55019 using the same number that was used for registration (you must have a credit balance of at least N50 on your line). The result, would be replied as an SMS shortly after.
The following are the responses to be expected:
- If a candidate uses a phone number that was not used to register, a message will be sent to him thus: ‘This phone number was not used for registration.”
- A candidate with a result will receive the message: “Dear Mr/Miss X, your result is as follows… (and the details will be provided).
- If a result is withheld, a “Result Withheld” message will be sent to the candidate.
- If a candidate belongs to the category being given the benefit of the doubt, the message to the person will be: “Result withheld pending the upload of clarifications/document required from you.”
- If a candidate was absent, s/he would get “CANDIDATE ABSENT” as feedback
- A candidate that was ABSENT WITH REGISTRATION NUMBER also CANCELLED will be so informed.
- “Invalid Entrance into the Exam Hall” will be sent to a candidate who gained unauthorized access to the examination hall.

If you have been wondering if you can be able to check your JAMB UTME Scores online for 2020, the answers is YES, you can also be able to access your results online but at the moment all candidates are directed to check via SMS.
The portal for checking of JAMB UTME 2020 Results at a later time, for the time being you can only access your JAMB scores via short message service (SMS).
NOTE:
Kindly be informed that some candidates will experience a little or longer delay in getting their scores after sending the above command to the short code.
Candidates need not to send this command multiple times as it attracts extra charges of additional #50.
